                        INTERVIEW TO LUGUBRIA (PERU)
 

1. How does the Lugubria band begin?

The dark beginnings of the lugubria band go back to November 2005, as a new project of the lineup at the time which was made up of Miguel Dark Angel and Dark Wizard. In which through the subsequent years we always seek to consolidate the band in a serious way according to our ideology by the darkness and shadows in addition in its musical field.For this purpose we aim to be consolidated as a band at war with the following members:Miguel Dark angel: vocals / guitarAlexa Reich: GuitarRic Doom: Low
2. In which cities or towns does Lugubria debut in Peru?

Good about the debut as Lugubria happens in the capital Lima - Peru, in later years we could play in some cities in the south of the country among the most rescutable and powerful in the under like the city of Puno. (border with Bolivia)

3. How is acceptance in the underground environment?

In general good way. Although that term within the scene in Peru and especially in Lima is irrelevant because the support can almost always be indifferent within the parameters that really must compete to a band like: Let's say recognition to a band for its possession and pregon within its music and not by other weak and stupid factors such as charisma, poseria, antics, hoops or because we bend the elbow with a drink sometime etc ...

4. When talking about music that genres inspire your work in Lugubria?In case everything about black metal. I think it's a genre within black metal that allows you to better dispel inspirational themes within the music. We do not see it as rigid as a heavy, a thrash or a death that does relate a sequence of strict influence.5. In order to play the genre that they play, any reference, feeling or situation in particular?

Part of what is obviously born to us. It does not have much foundation. The theme of making music flows under this acquired and contemplative darkness. Black metal harmonizes well with our way of making natural music.

6. What are Lugubria's lyrics about?

Linking with the previous question the letters of Lugubria deals with the contemplation of the darkness under a natural mantle (nature) our symbol is the Moon and under its nocturnal light it inspires us to describe it without any dogma. Basically it flows letters to dark skies, to desolate greenery, to the "nothingness" in itself. Without principles or end, brushstrokes of desolation and unalterable emptiness.

7. The band has participated in some zine, distributor of material or production?

We have participated in several zines, although I do not remember much the names of these works, under producer we have worked with stamps like pentagram records and gate of horror and currently under the label Dark Art Lugubrem Prod

8. What about the upcoming Lugubria events?There is the subject of proposals and rumors but nothing concrete. But the always intention is to spread our musical Darkness by countries outside our country of origin. Psor that we always see with good eyes every proposal for the outside but not all of them are clear.

9. Have you thought of any visit to touch the cold lands of Colombia?

Claro and if we had the opportunity to visit Colombia in 2016. We played in Bogota with several hordes of comrades. Basically it was October 2016. And of course we would like to return to that brutal country, huge in metal like Colombia. In hell !!!!!
